November Tips
Here is what our design team had to share with you about this month’s kit.

1. The flower die cut in the Blackbird Collection can be cut into pieces as in my sample. This can create multiple new looks.
2. The sassy Blackbird papers are bright and fresh. These patterned papers can be cut apart and used as accents as one of the large flowers from Early Bird.
3. The Super Star is earthy and fall-like. Great for pumpkin patch pictures. Try using strips or blocks of the different patterns for your layout like the “Freckles” sample.
4. My sample on the superstar paper was cut to slip to pictures behind the emblem of the wings. I also used a gold and wide black pen to enhance the details of the pattern.

1. I love the bright MOD papers but find them a bit much on a full page so I like to mix them with kraft paper or black!
2. I printed my calendar from Outlook to use in my “Miami” layout. I wanted to write what we did each day so we could have a record of it.
3. I used an exact-o and cut the star on my “cool dudes” Layout so it would over lap the photo!

1. Use your flowers in various ways by layering them my favorite way of attaching the flowers is with brads and layers!
2. The Rock Star collection comes with several papers that look great as just the background of the page. They aren't too busy, but still add just the right touch for a quick and easy page.
3. I love using the rub-ons as a framing for the pictures. I used them right near and around them for a special touch.

1. I always struggle with how to scrapbook my son’s school pictures. But with the Rock Star paper it worked out perfectly. I also used an exact-o knife to cut the star and the wings so I could slip the photo in the wings.
2. I loved the flowers from American Craft. They made such a nice accent to my photo.
3. With the Blackbird large flower paper I used my exact-o knife again and cut around the flowers to slip the picture in. I used rhinestone brads in the American Craft flowers, stacking the sizes.
