Hi! My name
is Karen and I am so excited to be here. I have been
scrapping for about 3 years now and am totally addicted.
I love to shop (first and foremost), love to pick up
all the papers and just touch them. Other than scrapbooking,
my hobbies are photography. I love to take photos and
document my children's lives. Speaking of them....I
have two boys, Logan, who is 5 and Camden, who just
turned one in May. I also have a very supportive husband,
Kelly. We have been married for almost 8 years. We
are a military family, and are currently stationed
in Anchorage, Alaska.
Thank you to Jocie and Ann
for giving me this opportunity to be on the design
team. I am very honored to be here.

My name is Jocelyn I've been scrapping for over
two years now, after getting started when I saw a
friend's CM-style album. Although I never scrapped
CM-style, I felt restricted in scrapping, completely
oblivious to all the possibilities. I got bored with
scrapping and stopped for about 5 months, until I got
a free issue of a magazine in the mail. Within a week,
I bought a pack of 500 eyelets and twine (LOL, it was
a new technique at the time)and eased back into the
scrapping world Ever since, my style has started
developing- I went from needing to scraplift ideas
from magazines to be able to come up with my own.
I'm
not sure how I would really describe my style except
eclectic. I like mixing different papers and
embellishments; I try to just let my photos guide me
and get down on paper the story I want to share. I've
discovered that although patterned paper is my favorite
product, my priority really is meaningful journaling.
I've been working on several albums on my family, friends,
and an annual album, but I've been trying to focus
more on my Book of Me and I'm also excited to start
working on a goals album. I'm unmarried and don't have
any kids yet, so I guess that could be why I have time
to scrap about myself.
I live in Chicago,Illinois,
and along with scrapbooking, I love movies, shopping,
music (listening to all kinds, but I play and teach
violin and piano), and sports. I am so excited to be
part of such an amazing team at Scrapbook Mailbox and
that I get to use these beautiful kits!

I have been scrapbooking since
before I can remember; always saving little memorabilia
and photos (I think I still have a corsage from 1988!).
I think monthly kits are great because it is so exciting
to get the best stuff at your door every month! I love
to do a little scrapbooking everyday even if it is
just ordering pictures, or planning new layouts. It
is such a great hobby because not only is it so much
fun but also you have a wonderful piece of history
when you are finished. I am always pushing to try something
new or use something old in a new way.
I live in Sarasota,
FL with my fabulously handsome tech-savvy husband and
our amazing four year old son, Titan! Life is good.
