Jocelyn has been scrapbooking since she was in 4th
grade. Back then the only supplies were scotch tape
and some markers! She really got interested again after
the birth of her son, Andrew. A year after Andrew was
born, a new local scrapbook store opened and Jocelyn
got a little carried away with the shopping aspect
of scrapbooking. It was several months later at her
first Friday night crop that she was truly hooked again.
Jocelyn is an avid photographer and her favorite subject
is her sweet son Andrew and dear and very supportive
husband, Jeff. Jocelyn attended CKU in Orlando in 2003
and learned tips and techniques from the top teachers
in the industry. Jocelyn herself is a teacher, teaching
a monthly class at her local scrapbook store in Sarasota.
Jocelyn's favorite part of this extraordinary hobby
is it allows her to chronicle her families' life, the
good times and the not so good times. Having lost her
mother at a young age it is important to Jocelyn to
leave her son scrapbooks filled with love and detailed
stories of their very blessed life. Jocelyn also loves
the time she spends cropping with her girlfriends.
It is a passion to be shared. Originally from Philadelphia,
Jocelyn is proud to call Florida home.
Ann Gowgiel
Owner
A passionate and amazing friend, Ann has been creating
scrapbooks her whole life in one-way or another. As
a young child Ann enjoyed sitting with her grandmother
and looking at old family photo albums. It inspired
her to become the family historian at an early age
and begin to create family heirloom scrapbooks.
It was Ann who finally convinced
Jocelyn to attend a monthly crop at a local scrapbook
store. Before the week was over both Ann and Jocelyn
had XXL’s
to call their very own. Having graduated college with
a dual degree in Fashion Merchandising plus Residential
and Commercial Design, Ann approaches scrapbooking
as an art often using many design techniques on her
pages. Ann is proud to be a graduate of CKU and always
loves to try new products and design elements.
Before becoming a Mom, to her
sweet Benjamin, Ann had a long management careers
in retail. She first worked at Jacobson’s then
Maidenform, Coach Leather and Williams-Sonoma.
Ann has a remarkable and loving husband Tony who thoroughly
supports her new business endeavor. Originally from
the great state of Michigan, Ann now lives in sunny
Florida; Ann enjoys cooking, hosting parties, scrapping
with friends, rubber-stamping and spending time with
family and friends.
